registered a case under the Railway Act of 1989. The arrested individuals are scheduled to be presented in the railway court. The incident occurred during the trial run of the Vande Bharat train, which was set to begin on the 16th. The train departed from Mahasamund at 7:10 am and the stone pelting happened near Bagbahra around 9 am. The security personnel on board immediately reported the incident, leading to the swift arrest of the five suspects. The apprehended individuals include Shiv Kumar Baghel, Devendra Kumar, Jitu Pandey, Sonwani, and Arjun Yadav. It is reported that Shiv Kumar Baghel's brother is a councilor. This is not the first instance of stone pelting on a Vande Bharat train. Similar incidents have occurred previously at various locations, including Lucknow to Patna, Gorakhpur to Lucknow, and other states like Gujarat, Bengal, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. Several perpetrators have been apprehended in these cases as well.

Bagbahra ke resident hain. Unhone Railway Act 1989 ke tahat case register kiya hai aur aaroopiyon ko aaj hi railway court me pesh karne ki planning hai. Yeh incident Vande Bharat train ke trial run ke dauran hua, jo 16 tarikh se shuru hone wali thi. Train Mahasamund se subah 7:10 am pe nikli thi aur karib 9 am pe Bagbahra ke paas pathraav hua. Train me maujood surakshakarmiyon ne jaldi se soochna di, jiske baad police ne panch aaroopiyon ko giraftaar kar liya. Giraftaar aaroopiyon ke naam Shiv Kumar Baghel, Devendra Kumar, Jitu Pandey, Sonwani, aur Arjun Yadav hain. Shiv Kumar Baghel ke bhai ke baare me jaankari mili hai ki woh ek pardshad hain. Yeh pehli baar nahi hai jab Vande Bharat train pe pathraav hua hai. Isse pehle bhi kai jagah pe train pe aisi incidents ho chuki hain, jaise Lucknow se Patna, Gorakhpur se Lucknow, aur dusre states jaise Gujarat, Bengal, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, aur Tamil Nadu me bhi aisi incidents samne aai hain. In maamlon me bhi kai aaroopiyon ko giraftaar kiya gaya tha.

September 15th. The Berhampur-Tatanagar train will have stops at Banspani, Keonjhar, Harichandanpur, Jakhapura, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, and Balugaon in Odisha. The inaugural train leaves Berhampur at 11 am and reaches Tatanagar at 11:45 pm. The Rourkela-Howrah train has only three stops (Chakradharpur, Tatanagar, and Kharagpur) and departs at 11 am, arriving in Howrah at 6:15 pm. The Raipur-Visakhapatnam train has stops at Khariar Road, Kantabanji, Titilagarh, Kesinga, and Rayagada in Odisha, leaving Raipur at 11 am and reaching Visakhapatnam at 9:30 pm. ECoR general manager Parameswar Funkwal invited Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to the event in Berhampur. Currently, three Vande Bharat trains are operating in the state, with the first launched in May 2023 on the Puri-Howrah route, the second on the Puri-Rourkela route in September 2023, and the third on the Bhubaneswar-Vizag route in March 2024.
