This follows similar disruptions in the past due to third line construction in Darekasa-Salekasa-Dhanouli, Gudma-Gondia-Gangaajari, and Kamthi-Kalmana sections, which also led to cancellations and rerouting of trains, causing passenger inconvenience. As a measure to ease passenger discomfort, the weekly Tirupati-Bilaspur Express has been given a temporary halt at Kovvuru station on the South Central Railway. Additionally, an extra AC-3 Economy coach has been permanently added to the Udaipur-Shalimar-Udaipur Express to increase the availability of confirmed berths, starting October 5th from Udaipur and October 6th from Shalimar.
