The Southern Railway has suspended traffic on the Tirunelveli-Tiruchendur section between Srivaikuntam and Seydunganallur due to damaged track and flooding. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rainfall in South Tamil Nadu, prompting Southern Railways to cancel and divert multiple trains operating in the region. Several flights have also been cancelled.

Indian Meteorological Department ne South Tamil Nadu mein heavy rainfall ke liye red alert jaari kiya hai, jiske karan Southern Railways ne region mein chalne wali kaafi trains cancel aur divert kar di hain.
