Any further elaboration on the quality, tariff, availability, online booking facility, etc. would be appreciated.

Most people will not be able to decipher Western side, Eastern side, etc. Some "relative" directions like "Located near PF# , close to ... Walk straight from main entrance ... turn left, etc. " may be more understandable to most.

Sir,yesterday I wanted to book RR online by railtourism site.NZM doesnt have facility of online booking.However,while filling out there is an option to select ' "book principal source" and automatically NDLS RR is offered.This is an additional info.

Sir, main entrance has been mentioned, though I am editing the post.
This station has 7 platforms with almost nil seating facility on all platforms. SO, all the time all the floors of most of the platforms are occupied by waiting passengers, it is really difficult to move with your luggage. Even the staircase of FOB are occupied. The platforms are dirty & not very wide. So many Rajdhanis originates from this station, but the facility is pathetic. If possible, try to catch train from ndls which has far better facilities than this station.

Gate No.2,3 opens to the mouth of Hazrat Nizamuddin Where as Gate No.1 opens towards Sarie Kale Kha ISBT you might need to walk a bit in opposite direction. and Gate no.4 is for Millieum Park made just besides the railway track and coaching depot of Hazrat Nizamuddin

Recently I travelled in 12172 Haridwar Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminal AC Superfast Express between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Jhansi. and I would like to share my experience and some tips regarding this train and anyone who is willing to board this train.
🔺Availability- Availability of berths specially in 3A in this train is quit easy. NIzamuddin is under RL quota hai and you will always see a waiting upto RLWL6-RLWL50. You dont need to worry as the confirm chances are upto 99% and current availability always open upto 150 berths from NZM.

Useful, but more detail can be added like what is the distance of metro stations from these Railway Station (as nearest does not give a clear picture of whether it is accessible)
Nearest metro station to nizamuddin railway station is JLN stadium metro station(3km away) in violet line and not indraprastha.
Yes nearest is not Indraprastha.. but Jungpura metro station is even closer than JLN metro stadium.
Old Delhi ka khud ka apna metro station hai just like new Delphi

Yes , in phase 3, mayur vihar - ina line will have station just in front of sarai kaale khan end
Agree, after some months, the nearest station will be other one, after two more lines of metro will start till august.
In 2014, I think Jungpura was more suitable metro for NZM instead of mentioned name.
