fanof12801~ 576 blog postsThis is one of the favorite train for the passengers from puri, bbs, tata, prr,bksc, gomo, gaya, ddu and cnb because of its time suitability. Before Covid this train rarely arrived its destination on time whether up or down train but after this train running as Covid spl, this train maintained its punctuality very well, even cleanliness is better from earlier days, one of the most demanded and best train runs jampacked whole year and one more important thing, it runs from New Delhi due to which it has big passenger/fan base. Others are from anvt like 12875,12815,12819,22849, etc. Generally from Tata, Gaya, Ald this train has large number of crowd.

Gourav~ 1707 blog postsIf you are traveling from Tatanagar to New Delhi and getting waiting list from Tata then book tickets from Bhadrak as it comes under GNWL and you can get confirm tickets or in case of waiting, it would have high chances of confirmation. Change the boarding point accordingly

STEEL EXPRESS Pantry Services. In ICF times a huge menu was for offer to all it's passengers from Sugarfree Coffee to Diet Coke, from Chicken Cutlet with Bread Butter to Finger Chips,from Lassi to Chips and from Cake, Pakoras to Noodles. After LHBfication the Pantry no longer exists. They still have the same items in their list but you may not get all at a time. One day you may get Paneer Pakora the next day you may not but the quality of the food is unchanged. Importantly this is one of those trains which follows IRCTC Menu and price lists. Each and every packed item is sold at MRP rates. No over Charging. You will get exact ₹3 change if you pay a ₹10 note for a cup of coffee and you will get a bill for the same if asked for. Looks like SER handled train pantry cars are following IRCTC rate card and MRP seriously. Observed this in 12825 too. The tea was rs 10 but the glass was bigger one. Pantry guys returned the change without any fuss if the MRP figure was not a round figure. No jhik jhik of no change and moving away. Nice to see SER following it. Hope it is followed in other trains and zones too.
When they don't have change they give that digestive biscuit pack. I am talking of BBN Janshatabdi here. They give change too but if they don't then Biscuits 🙏
