the Chennai Egmore - Tirunelveli Superfast Express (12631), Chennai Egmore - Sengottai Pothigai Superfast Express (12661), and Chennai Egmore - Kanniyakumari Express (12633). The Sengottai - Chennai Egmore Pothigai Superfast Express (12662), Tirunelveli - Chennai Egmore Superfast Express (12632), and Kanniyakumari - Chennai Egmore Express (12634) will be short terminated at Chengalpattu. The Kanniyakumari - Hazrat Nizamuddin Thirukkural Express (12641) will be diverted via Villupuram and have an additional stop at Perambur on August 14th. The Howrah - Tiruchy Superfast Express (12663) will be diverted via Perambur, skipping stops at Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Chengalpattu and Melmaruvathur on August 15th. Train No 16865 Chennai Egmore -Thanjavur Uzhavan Express on August 15th will originate from Chennai Egmore at 10:15 pm. Train No 12631 Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli Superfast Express on August 16th and 17th will originate from Chengalpattu at 9:10 pm. Train No 12661 Chennai Egmore – Sengottai Pothigai Superfast Express on August 16th and 17th will originate from Chengalpattu at 9:40 pm. Why does SR always want to give away its trains to other zones? Dont they even have the capacity to run a dedicated train with their own rake to CAPE from MS? Its the passengers who will be affected if Island Exp is delayed.

What will SR try to achieve by delinking the rakes of PC and MS-CAPE? Pathetic to see the way the zone is functioning. They didnt even care to build a pitline at CAPE and decongest NCJ.
