Doon Express will be diverted via Varanasi-Ma Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh Junction-Lucknow from January 15 to 19. Similarly, the 13151 Kolkata-Jammu Tawi SF Express will also be diverted via the same route from January 15 to 19. The 13509 Asansol-Gonda Weekly Express, scheduled to depart on January 16, will be diverted via Mau, Gorakhpur, and Gonda. The 13510 Gonda-Asansol Express, scheduled to depart on January 17, will be diverted via Gonda, Gorakhpur, and Mau.

Journey on board GD-ASN Express.

I had the option of choosing to board it either from MUR or AY. I chose the rather. The train came nearly an hour late. It was detained at outers for no reason[ since no other train went that way the whole time ]. I had a cushy Side Lower berth. The blankets and sheets were quite clean. The coaches were even cleaned on board twice despite the relatively short journey. The train was jerking quite much though [ due to old ICF coaches? ]. I soon...

went to sleep. Woke up to see us standing at Hajipur before sleeping again. Woke up finally to find at Muzaffarpur. The train honestly never took off at mps and was nearly three hours late. We crossed the whole way through Hatidah Jn upto Jasidih. It was four hrs late. It only picked up speed then and blasted away till ASN. My connecting train was standing at the next platform. I barely had enough time to cross the FOB and get to my berth.
