RFIR~ 6969 blog postsAny reason why the train is terminating at Karmali. Is it because it being closer to Panaji ? I presume another 40 minutes and it could have terminated at madgaon which could have been convenient for passengers coming from mumbai wanting to travel to south goa.

I think 2 rakes can be given to it and even Vasco extension must be done.
I feel an overnight superfast should run daily betn Mumbai to Vasco with both reserved as well as unreserved coaches.
I was @ TAB & hence didnt checked the Rake configuration tht time!! I guessed it as Spare ICF Shatabdi Rake only...
Anyway, with RSA logic & Rake availability, only on thursday, its not possible to make it run both way as Overnight!!

if only one rake is available to run then overnight triweekly AC express can be introduced, in future when another rake will be available then it can be made daily..
Better to start a regular overnight daily superfast betn Vasco to Mumbai with both AC, SL and also UR coaches.

As long as Mumbai Goa trains don't touch Vasco i don't even care about it.
Timings wont matter, Rush is so huge that timings wont matter at all...
It's time for SWR to react, A new train between Vasco-Mumbai should come from SWR... :)
I think UBL division not interested in VSG much so many demands and proposals not one fulfillled. Even they are not making Goa exp a 24 coacher which is must required.
