New train flagged off

VISAKHAPATNAM: A new daily passenger train service between Rayagada and Visakhapatnam was flagged off at the Visakhapatnam railway station here on Thursday, in addition to the Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam-Rayagada passenger train that is already running between the two stations.

more... new daily train 58503 Rayagada-Visakhapatnam passenger will depart at 5am and reach Visakhapatnam at 9.05am. In the return direction, the train will leave the city railway station at 5pm and reach Rayagada at 9.35pm.
The train will ply via Ladda, Jimidipeta, Kuneru, Gumada, Parvatipuram, Narshipuram, Sitanagaram, Bobbili, Donkinivalasa, Komatipalli, Gajapathinagaram, Garudabilli, Gotlam, Vizianagaram Junction, Korukonda, Alamanda, Kantakapalli, Kottavalasa Junction, Pendurthy, Simhachalam and Marripalem between Rayagada and Visakhapatnam, according to a release issued by the railways.
The new train was introduced in order to meet the extra rush of passengers between Visakhapatnam and Rayagada, which is famous for the temple of Goddess Majji Gouramma.
