Train No.16353 Kacheguda – Nagercoil Weekly Express leaving Kacheguda Jn at 15.45 hrs o­n 12th, 19th, 26th Feb 2023 will be diverted to run via Virudhunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi, Tiruchchirappalli and Karur skipping stoppages at Madurai and Dindigul. An Additional stoppage will be provided at Manamadurai for the benefit of passengers.

So one more happy news in this week.
The line between Chennai Egmore and Madurai Junction 497kms becomes operationally fully electrified double line from today night. So no crossings and travel time is reduced by half an hour and some legendary trains like Podhigai, Nellai, Pearl City, Kanyakumari SF and Ananthapuri to be speed up...

Passing by the station .. Saw a very slow pace work going on for MMTS Phase 2 near National Police Academy Shivrampally(My nearest Station). Platform work started last year during May but still no progress after that.
Platform 2 work: Very slow pace
Doubling works : Not started
