The railway has canceled 72 trains due to safety concerns, rerouted 68 trains, canceled 6 trains midway, and restarted 6 trains from intermediate stations. The farmers are still occupying the track near Shambu station on the Ambala-Ludhiana railway line, forcing the railway to cancel daily trains. These trains were used by commuters for daily travel to cities like Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Bathinda, and Saharanpur. While long-distance mail and express trains are being operated on alternative routes, commuters are demanding the resumption of some daily trains on alternative routes to ease their daily travel.

Railway ne safety ke karan 72 trains ko puri tarah se cancel kar diya hai. 68 trains ka route badal diya gaya hai, 6 trains ko beech raaste se cancel kar diya gaya aur 6 trains ko beech raaste ke stations se fir se chalaya gaya. Ambala-Ludhiana line pe Shambu station ke paas track par abhi bhi kisan baithay hain, is wajah se railway har din trains cancel kar rahi hai. Ye trains logon ko Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Bathinda, Saharanpur jaise cities mein daily travel ke liye use hote the. Ab ye trains band kar di gayi hai, lekin lambi duri ki mail aur express trains ka route badal ke chalai ja rahi hai. Daily travellers ki demand hai ki kuchh daily trains ko bhi badle hue route se chalaya jaaye, taki unko rahat mil sake.

भाई ये सिर्फ चंडीगढ़ खड़े होने जाती है यार्ड में, साफ सफाई नही होती इसकी वहा, वो फिरोजपुर में ही होती है। मोहाली स्टेशन पर सिर्फ दो ही प्लेटफार्म है अगर इसको वही खड़ा रहने दिया दिन भर तो बाकी ट्रेन के हॉल्ट में तकलीफ होगी। इसलिए इसको बस प्लेटफॉर्म खाली रहने के वास्ते भेज देते है चंडीगढ़।
