Many people from Visakhaptnam goes to Rath yatra. Many telugu people of this region worships Lord Jagannada more. EVen you can see some telugu boards in Puri temple also. I have also seen when i visited there.
For Rathyatra there will be always too much rains in Visakhapatnam...All former waits for Rathyatra time for their works to start.
