Nothing much apart from enjoying the greenery there.:) Just a RF trip Sahil. Had a day to spare and hence took this from CDG all the way up to Amb Andaura and returned by the Himachal exp back to Delhi.
Believe, you had the reservation in Himachal exp, otherwise its a horrible train to travel. Even the reserved coaches are like general one's.
On the contrary Sahil ,it was very pleasant for a good part of this DEMU journey. After Rupnagar, we had some rains and with a thick green cover on either sides, it was simply awesome.But yes, the heat was unbearable in ASR, KLK and CDG . Horrible!
Rupnagar and beyond is always pleasant. And during my schooling i used to visit Rupnagar at my cousins for my summer vacations. And we used to go to Bhakra Nangal, Anandpur and nearby areas. And going along side river you always get the cooling effect. Good ol days.
