I requested the SBC Div. Of SWR to replace this special train by a new train, and here's their reply.
W/SW/SBC/000433002Your Actual ComplaintI request you introduce a new train between Bengaluru and Visakhapatnam to replace the special train 06579/06580 Yesvantpur Junction - Visakhapatnam Junction - Yesvantpur Junction Special Fare Special train via Renigunta Junction and Vijayawada Junction. After the extension of the 18463/18464 Prashanthi Express to Bhubaneswar, this is the only dedicated train from Visakhapatnam to Bengaluru. I appreciate Indian Railways for such a good scheduling of the train. The special train has got high patronage, got nicknamed as IT Express and is running since a couple of years as a special fare special. Though it is running regularly as a Weekly...
