If for one day they try to run this train via Palanpur, Alwar, Mathura, Bareilly, Sitapur, Gorakhpur, Samastipur, Barauni then almost 340 kms of total distance is saved.
Agreed that the bigger cities like Ahmedabad, Kota, Kanpur, Lucknow will be skipped en route but iss route se almost 16 % distance kam ho jayega.
