SCR has decided to de-link 17241/2 Simhadri Link Express with 17239/40 Simhadri Express on an experimental basis for 6 months w.e.f. 20th March, 2018. A DEMU train will be operated between Narsapur - Nidadavolu - Narsapur (T. No. 77275/6) for the convenience of passengers to connect with Simhadri Express

Train Forum
The train is served by WDP4 loco from the Krishnarajapuram, Bangalore shed. This loco comes in with train 17256 from Hyderabad early in the morning and is utilised for 17241/42 during the day and the loco returns with 17255 in the evening to Hyderabad. The WDP4 loco comes in with trains from Bangalore to Hyderabad, is utlised here and then goes back when in need of servicing.
SCR doesn't home WDP-4's!! the other WDP-4's come from the other zone, help the necessary allocated trains n then go back to their homes. its a routine one.

This train gets the Same Loco of HYB NS Express. if narsapur Express is late, then it will get WDP 1/WDM 2 of BZA DLS.
