Due to ongoing works at Yesvantpur Junction, the terminal for Train No. 16511/12 KSR Bengaluru-Kannur Express will be changed. The train will terminate at SMVT Bengaluru instead of KSR Bengaluru with Stoppage at Yesvantpur. from 01/11/2024 to 31/03/2025, for a period of 150 Days.

2. Train No. 16585 SMVT Bengaluru - Murdeshwar Express, Journey commenced on 09.08.2024 is regulated at Hassan.

3. Train No. 16586 Murdeshwar - SMVT Bengaluru Express, Journey commenced on 09.08.2024 is regulated at Sakleshpur.

4. Train No. 16512 Kannur - KSR Bengaluru Express, Journey commenced on 09.08.2024 is regulated at Sakleshpur.

5. Train No. 16596 Karwar - KSR Bengaluru Panchaganga Super-Fast Express, Journey commenced on 09.08.2024 is regulated at Donigal.
Food and Tea arrangements have been made at the stations.

Relief material with rescue team is present for the purpose and restoration works are under progress.

It’s nearly confirmed that the South Western Railway (SWR) is changing the terminal of Train No. 16511/12 SBC-CAN Express from SBC to SMVB, citing improvements in pitlines at the YPR yard. This move is yet another injustice to the Mangaluru region. Notably, they haven’t even considered changing the terminal for Train No. 16527/28 YPR-CAN Express, which originates from YPR itself. It’s time to reconsider whether Mangaluru should come under SWR’s jurisdiction.
