However, other trains like the Patliputra Express, Ranchi-Dumka, Dhanbad-Patna, and Ranchi-Godda Intercity still have available seats. Private vehicles are also in high demand during Shravan, with prices for vehicles like the Scorpio starting at INR 1000 per day. Bus services from Dhanbad to Sultanpur will operate daily, with fares remaining unchanged from last year at INR 400.

The 12802 New Delhi-Puri Express will travel to Puri through Gomo, Bhojudih, Anara, and Purulia. The 13319/13320 Dumka-Ranchi-Dumka Intercity will not travel to Ranchi on July 7th. The train will depart from Dumka and reach Dhanbad Station. From Dhanbad, the train will return to Dumka on its scheduled time. The train will be cancelled between Dhanbad and Ranchi. Train number 18019/18020 (Jhargram-Dhanbad-Jhargram MEMU Express), 13503/13504 (Barddhaman-Hatia-Barddhaman MEMU Express), 13319/13320 (Dumka-Ranchi Express), and 08695/08696 (Bokaro-Ranchi MEMU Express) will be canceled. Train number 18013/18014 (Howrah-Bokaro Express) will be short-originated at Adra, meaning it will not operate between Adra and Bokaro. Train number 13351 (Dhanbad-Allapuzha Express) will be rerouted, and Train numbers 12818 (Anand Vihar-Hatia Jharkhand Swaranjayanti Express), 02831 (Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special Express), and 12801/12802 (Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express) will also be rerouted.
