Passengers reported the incident to the railway helpline, leading to an alert being issued to RPF and GRP at Gomoh, Koderma, and Hazaribagh. The woman received medical attention and was put back on the train. This incident follows a similar stone-throwing attack on the Tejas Express on Saturday near Khanudih, after it left Gomoh.
