Time change is asked for better. MAQ 1830 and Mysore 0315 is definitely odd. It can be MAQ 1930 Mysore 0430.
Similarly MYS 2330 MAQ 0900 is odd. It should be MYS 2245 MAQ 0700.
Overall, my suggestion would be like this:

If it starts from MRDW after 16:00, it can't reach MAQ by 18:30. And if existing timetable is altered,it will affect the crossing pattern of trains at ghat section.

The notification has been released.
TT remains the same...not much change. Just a 30 min platform turnaround at Murdeshwar. I guess same engine will bring it back. Not sure if KR will deploy cleaning staff at Murdeshwar to do some basic cleaning in this train. The other thing could be some cleaning and water filling might happen at MAQ.

Yes completely agree. MAQ-YPR is a wasted train running via CBE-PGT. It should be via the other route. Already on Sundays there are other trains in this section up till PGT which are preferred. Almost close to mid night departure from YPR hardly serves any purpose

15 mins stoppage at Manguluru Jn towrards Central from Bengaluru is not required. Will act as day intercity from Manguluru to towns of Udupi, Kundapur, Bhatkal. So travellers of Mysuru should prove the extention worth by travelling in numbers to Coastal towns for whom the train is extended for. Is there separate Quota for MYS and sufficient to demand.?

Half hearted exercise by all 3 zones is the reason.
From SBHR to MAJN 2 hours is more than sufficient. Plus another 15 minutes to MAQ. It reaches SBHR at 0615, and so can reach MAQ by 0830 and leave MAQ by 0845. Can reach Murudeshwara by 1200. Similarly can leave by 1600 and reach MAQ by 1930/1945 so that it reaches Mysore after 0400.

is intended for Mysore to Coastal karnataka (Mangalore Udupi Kundapura Bhatkal). But timings are inconvenient to the public. It should leave Mysore before 2300 so that it reaches Mangalore by 0700, Udupi by 0815 etc. Similarly odd timings in Konkan railway area and ghost arrival time at Mysore.

May be bus Lobby played their role to make train as useless option 🤔
