Several other mail and express trains were also delayed by 1 to 3 hours. The operating department attributed the delays to track maintenance work being carried out along the routes, resulting in controlled train movements.

The 15621 Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Express, departing from Kamakhya on August 15th, will follow an alternate route through Ramganga-Bareilly City-Pilibhit-Sitapur. The 15909 Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Express, departing from Dibrugarh on August 14th, will take an alternate route through Lucknow (North Railway)-Kanpur Central-Ghaziabad. Consequently, this train will not stop at Balamou, Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly Jn., Rampur, Moradabad, Amroha, Hapur, and Pilkhuast stations.
