Returned from HWH to DGR on this train (12341) yesterday, and it was a bit disappointing. This train is known for its speed and punctuality, but despite being on a high-MPS track, it crawled up to DKAE. It briefly hit 130 kmph thereafter, but only for a minute or less.
It reached DGR at 20:35, 10 minutes behind schedule. I wanted to compare it to 12339 (this one takes 5 min less), but it didn’t meet expectations. It stayed 10-18 minutes late throughout and even had an unscheduled stop at KAN for 3-4 minutes!

One of my fav trains to attend college from 10 o'clock on Mondays when I come home on weekends. Although after Liluah, the train literally crawls upto Howrah, but that's fine; ample local trains from LLH to HWH at that time help reach HWH just on time. Otherwise, upto LLH, with 130 kmph action mostly, it just keeps proving why it's the BOSS of this route!!
