and construction has begun. During this period, some trains will operate from Ambala, Kharar, and Mohali. Traffic marshals will be deployed to guide passengers. Other upgrades include connecting the concourse and installing signals. The decision to close platforms 2 and 3 was approved on August 20th. As a result of the upgrades, eight trains have had their schedules adjusted and six trains have been temporarily terminated, operating from Ambala and other stations. Train numbers 15011-12 will operate from Ambala, 14629-30 from SAS Mohali, 12241-42 from Kharar, and 15531-32 from Saharsa to Amritsar via Ambala Cantt and Saneval.

Upgrade ke kaaran, eight trains ke schedules adjust kiye gaye hain aur six trains temporarily terminate ki gayi hain, jo Ambala aur other stations se chalegi. (04652), Jayanagar-Amritsar (04651), Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri (04654), and New Jalpaiguri-Amritsar (04653). Additionally, 25 trains will be diverted. To facilitate travel during Raksha Bandhan, 6 special trains will run between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (04087, 04088) on August 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th. Further special trains will run between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (04081, 04082, 04085, 04086) on August 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th.
