buffaloes were trapped under the engine and dragged a considerable distance. This caused the train's wheels to jam, and the driver, Arjun Yadav, brought the train to a halt. The station manager informed the regional control office in Barkakana. A team consisting of the ADE, Chief TLC, station manager, and RPF inspector arrived at the scene. After removing the trapped animals, the train was able to depart for Barkakana at 2:36 PM. Train service was disrupted for 2 hours and 26 minutes. Local residents reported seeing several cattle on the railway line, and that two of the animals were struck by the train while the others escaped.
