Simply changing the destination to NGP/ ITR, adding halts like BUQ, GNS, LTA and TRO, TMR, BRD, KP in the G NGP leg, and this has prospects of becoming a 20 coacher. Certainly a little delayed departure from JBP post 5:30 will be an icing on the cake, but na IR is interested in taming white elephants.

Even if they run this train with a better schedule & extra stops, still occupancy will be poor. So I think the decision to run JBP-R Intercity is valid & there is demand for that route.

BPQ - ET - JBP route pe itne trains hain, aur kuch ko divert karna chahiye is route pe. Lekin ghatiya zone SECR ka kya hi karein. Pata nahi woh Tamil Sangamam train kaise le liya is route pe, shayad CR, WCR ne mainline se mana kiya hoga.
yes. WCR ko Maalgadi badha dena chahiye taaki SECR is route ka doubling kare.

then its better for SECR to convert this section as frieght corridor and this section passengers either can use thier own means of transport or Public buses to move hin b/w NIR-JBP or NIR-BTC or NIR -G and if IR wants this route to be frieght route then should have officialy names JBP-NIR-G route as dedicated frt corridor
running 6-7 trains is another topic and gradually it will with time.

Much needed trains like JBP-NGP/R ICE & much demanded RKMP-BSP via MML-NIR are still waiting in the lobby while CAF spl gets a green.
i m getting your point but have some patience n see how things roll out. let CAF experiment patronage.
