Nowadays it is most common to observe TATA WAP-7 becomes the link in all SER based trains like Howrah-Chennai Mail , Howrah - SMVT Bengaluru Duronto Express , Dhauli Express since now Santragachi contains 22 WAP-7 and the rest are transferred to TATA so TATA contains 62 locomotives.
Can you capture the loco of Howrah-Mysuru Express, Howrah- Puducherry Express , Howrah-Bengaluru AC Express and Howrah-Bengaluru Humsafar once?

The main reason was reduce the delays it was infamous for long delays I remember.Now there is so much lie over at CBE all will get covered up.Otherwise they would have to get new rakes to maintain punctuality
The other issues which was sited by one media professional who covers railways was that earlier when this train used to run from TVC, there used to be lots of incidents related to chain pulling etc when trains used to enter TN since it was already jampacked. Incidents of people unable to board etc was very frequent leading to loss of punctuality.
Covid came as a blessing in disguise and once train operation resumed they used this time to short terminate it to CBE. To some extent this has helped especially for people boarding from CBE, TUP, ED, Salem.

Right ! Earlier it used to arrive TVC at night - which in delay max it arrived next day morning but left at right time most of the time around 12:30 PM

This was such a historic train. Held the record for the longest running SF in the country when it was running between TVC and GHY while what is currently the Aronai Exp used to originally run from ERS.
They could have still run this from ERS itself, as you've pointed out the timings are quite suited.

Infact Kerala did the same for ERS SBC ICE (used to CBE SBC ICE) so this happens regularly in SR. Instead of starting new train , they snatched CBE ERS ICE to ERS
