Had planned on returning from Sri Ganganagar itself on 3rd April but due to some work ended up going to Suratgarh so booked a 2A ticket from Suratgarh to Sri Ganganagar and after meeting TTE...
more... went to my original seat which I had booked from Sri Ganganagar since it was empty till there anyway. After a very long time went behind a Diesel Locomotive. Every Station is under construction. Instead of finishing some first before starting others they've blown up everything before finishing anything.
Easy speedup by 1.5 hours with good enough slack.
Maintenance: Good Train, well maintained especially Washrooms. Cleanliness is maintained throughout journey. Bedrolls are crispy white and clean. Much better than even Lucknow New Delhi AC Superfast Express.
Punctuality: Excessive Slack, any delay gets covered up at Bathinda and Sri Ganganagar. 20 minute halt at Bathinda completely useless. Always reaches Sri Ganganagar Platform #1 almost 30 minutes before time every day both directions saw it myself twice and confirmed same from local vendors. Good 50 minute halt everyday. Enters Delhi at around 06 AM
Reaches Dayabasti at 06:48 gets regulated heavily till 07:22. Even Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani apparently gets regulated for good 20 minutes before being allowed to proceed further saw it myself.
Patronage: Main market for this train starts at Suratgarh, Sri Ganganagar and Abohar jointly provide almost 70% of Patronage. It's the lifeline of Defence Personnel here, absolutely crucial. Many people use this train to reach Delhi in order proceed further with flights and trains. Sleeper Class has excellent patronage and all other classes get good last minute occupancies despite having good amount of seats available during bookings 1 month before traveling.
Food: Tried the ONLY eCatering Option available on this route at Suratgarh. Pizza and French Fries, manageable enough.

Had to go to Sri Ganganagar for work. Supposed to head back from there, but ended up in Suratgarh due to work, so bought a ticket back to Sri Ganganagar. Found my empty original seat from there. Been a while since I sat behind a diesel engine. All the stations are a mess. They blow stuff up before finishing anything. Saved 1.5 hours easily with some slack time. Train's well-maintained, washrooms are clean, bedrolls are fresh. Punctuality is on point, always way early at Sri Ganganagar and Bathinda. Quick stop in Delhi. Train slows down near Dayabasti. Mostly filled with passengers from Suratgarh, Sri Ganganagar, and Abohar. Important for military folks. People use it to connect to flights and other trains in Delhi. Food on the train is alright, had pizza and fries from the eCatering option at Suratgarh.

Mera plan tha ki Sri Ganganagar se hi lautne wala tha 3rd April ko par kaam ki wajah se Suratgarh gaya, toh waha se 2A ticket book kiya Sri Ganganagar ke liye, phir TTE se mile aur apne original seat par chale gaya jo maine already Sri Ganganagar se book kiya tha kyunki vo khali thi. Diesel Locomotive ke peeche kaafi time baad gaya. Har Station under construction hai. Kuch stations ko pehle poora karne ki bajaye sab shuru kar diya hai aur abhi tak kuch khaas nahi bana hai.
1.5 ghante jaldi pohoch gaya, kaafi aaram se.
Maintenace: Train ache se maintain hoti hai, especially Washrooms. Safai poori yatra mein bani rehti hai. Bedrolls crispy white aur clean hai. Lucknow New Delhi AC Superfast Express se bhi zyada behtar.
Punctuality: Bohot time ruk jane ka mauka mil jata hai, Bathinda aur Sri Ganganagar mein. Bathinda mein 20 minute ki halt bilkul bekaar hai. Har din Sri Ganganagar almost 30 minute pehle pohochti hai Platform #1 par dono raste mein, maine khud dekha dua baar aur local vendors se confirm bhi kiya. Har din 50 minute tak rukti hai. Delhi 06 AM par enter hoti hai.
Dayabasti 06:48 par pohochti hai aur 07:22 tak heavily regulated hoti hai. Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani bhi lagataar 20 minute delay ke baad aage badhti hai, maine khud dekha.
