Force (RPF) and the Government Railway Police (GRP) were alerted after the Cantt RPF control room received information about the attack. However, the train had already left Kashi station before any action could be taken. The authorities are investigating the matter and will take action based on passenger statements. GRP and RPF stations along the route have been alerted. The Vande Bharat train operates six days a week on this route, with a maximum speed of 130 kilometers per hour.

Lekin, train Kashi station se aage nikal chuki thi, isliye koi action nahi liya ja saka. Authorities is matter ki jaanch kar rahe hai aur passengers ke statements ke basis pe action lenge. This train should ideally have gone upto LJN though I doubt that'll ever happen due to platform constraints at LJN, time constraint for this train[has 1 hour TAT time and taking it to LJN will squeeze that furthur] plus IR terminates it at GTNR to artificially reduce time on paper[just like how DEC-JP VB is run from Delhi Cantt instead of DLI or NDLS].

The problem with GTNR is its location curse vis a vis the heavyweights of Lucknow. Most of the 'famous' trains from Lucknow are either North Bound (to Delhi) or West bound (Mumbai). Hardly any famous trains are there for east.
There is simply no sense in extending the Shatabdi, Tejas, DDN VB, Pushpak, LKO Mail, NDLS/LTT AC Superfasts, GRs to GTNR.

most that GTNR can cater , is by train towards Bihar/east UP/NE to some extent, otherwise any train originating from GTNR will have a longer route ,especially when shorter and faster routes available.

3.The location of GTNR is known to people, but since not so famous trains are running from it makes it non existent. To solve this, GTNR can run weeklies/Holiday/Summer specials to different locations of India.

I think weeklies like GTNR-Godda, GTNR-KYQ and trains with comparatively lesser patronage like GTNR-CI is a decent way to start. They can slowly roll out NEW east bound trains from this station, especially when LJN churns itself to capacity.
