सिल्ली-इलू नई बाईपास लाइन बनाने की प्रक्रिया दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे जोन में शुरू हो गई। गार्डेनरीच से बुधवार को सिल्ली-इलू नई बाईपास लाइन के लिए 5.9 किमी तक जमीन का सीमांकन, पेड़ों की कटाई-सफाई, भूमि अधिग्रहण, जमीन कब्जा और म्यूटेशन के साथ और घेराबंदी का आदेश हुआ है। रेलवे लाइन बिछाने से पूर्व उपरोक्त कार्यों में तीन करोड़ 40 लाख से ज्यादा राशि खर्च करेगा। मालूम हो कि सिल्ली-इलू बाईपास लाइन रेलवे गति शक्ति योजना में शामिल है। इससे कई बार की सर्वे के बाद करीब 116 करोड़ नई बाईपास लाइन को रेलवे बोर्ड से मंजूरी मिली है। नई लाइन बनने से टाटानगर से रांची की ट्रेनें मुरी स्टेशन न जाकर सिल्ली से इलू होकर अप-डाउन कर सकती हैं।

HWH 21.10; MCA 22.04/06; KGP 22.55/23.05; JGM 23.39/41; CKU 00.02/04; GTS 00.24/26; TATA 01.02/12; CNI 02.07/09; TUL 02.45/46; SSIA 02.53/54; TRAN 03.04/05; MURI 03.25/45; TIS 04.36/38; NKM 04.45/47; RNC 04.53/05.03; HTE 05.15. Huge speedup of 65 mins possible. But SER being Stupid Erratic & Rambled Zone will never do this. I travelled in 2022, reached RNC at 05.00 hrs departing HWH at 21.30 hrs.
