It's time they should restore the overnight MG trains that used to ply over this route. It can also serve as an alternative route towards Uttarakhand.
All this route has a bunch of passengers and a single regular Express train. I've seen the crowd in MLN-GKP Express while returning from MLN. It was running over the capacity in GS and SL/AC coaches were almost empty. They should definitely run a pair ICEs to LJN on this route, or make one of the passengers a fast passenger.

Railways have not restored Satpura Express in Jabalpur Gondia Broadgauge route that's why we are demanding for Jabalpur Mysuru Palace Queen Satpura Express. Same here also ,trains like Nainital Express,Ruhelkhand Exp , Sanctuary express , need to be restored. Any more metergauge express trains ,if you remember
Bhai, they have literally killed Gorakhpur-Mailani Express. Just for the sake introducing a train particularly an express, they dragged it from GomtiNagar to Sitapur to Lakhimpur and now to Mailani. It would’ve been so pleasing if they would’ve terminated it coming from GKP to LJN or ASH and ran a seperate Express to Sitapur/Lakhimpur/Mailani. This train was always there whole sole saviour. If it would’ve been possible I am damn sure we would’ve seen Pilibhit - Gorakhpur Express.

True. Last few lines sums it all for UP. NR NER are really a mess. NCR comparatively much better. But those two are disaster.

In between GK-MLN they have given almost 2 hours for 27kms due to no availability of Pfs at MLN and to cross other trains.
Till Puranpur Train runs fine, PP to PBE there is speed restrictions of 20kmph due to Pilibhit tiger reserve area.
You can check 05085 time table which is good, 55359&05493 are linked you can see their time table to get a better idea.

2 pair of trains jo BC Se PBE aati hai unko aage MLN ya STP tak kar dena chaiye thoda TT change karke. Isse public ko fayda hoga. Abhi Mailani tak khali passenger r trains chalane ka pata nahi kya benefit hoga
