The 05471 passenger train, which departs from Nakha Jungle at 1:45 PM and reaches Nautanwa railway station at 4:10 PM, was delayed by 3 hours and 40 minutes due to track repairs on Friday. It reached Nautanwa station at 7:50 PM. This train, as 05472, leaves for Gorakhpur at 6:55 PM but due to the delay, passengers faced a lot of inconvenience. When the train arrived, passengers boarded it. However, when the driver started the engine, it failed at Nautanwa station, preventing the train from moving forward. Passengers were distressed upon learning about the engine failure. After the driver's repeated attempts to restart the engine failed, he informed the control and higher officials. An engine from the Duronto Express arrived from Gorakhpur and the train finally departed for Gorakhpur at 11:25 PM. The engine failure caused significant trouble for the passengers, with some opting to travel by road instead.
