Former MP Singh Bisen from Balaghat Seoni is demanding
click hereclick hereDuring his recent trip to New Delhi, he met with the honorable Central Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and discussed the practical issues in the Seoni operated railway service, emphasizing the need for essential facilities in passenger trains.
He informed the minister that during his parliamentary term, he had also requested that the Nainpur Chhindwara Passenger train be extended to Betul, and the Penchvali Fast Passenger train running between Indore-Chhindwara-Seoni could be operated up to Nainpur, benefiting passengers traveling to Seoni, Mandla, Nainpur, Chhindwara, and Betul. Additionally, considering the convenience of long-distance travelers in the Penchvali Fast Passenger train, he also requested to increase one AC-2 and one AC-3 coach.
Currently, the 14623/14624 Patalkot Express running between Firozpur - Seoni only provides the sole rail service for passengers traveling from the Balaghat parliamentary constituency to Delhi and northern India via Seoni district, Mandla, and Chhindwara parliamentary areas. Due to the lack of pantry car service in this approximately 1500 km long train journey, passengers do not have access to food. He urged the minister to increase the capacity of AC-1, AC-2, and AC-3 coaches in the Patalkot Express according to its full rack capacity and to start pantry car service.
Taking note of this issue, the honorable minister has instructed immediate action to address this long-standing demand of the region.
We appreciate your support from the citizens of the region.
