से संचालित रेल सेवा में आ रही व्यावहारिक परेशानियों एवं यात्री गाड़ीयों में आवश्यक सुविधाओं के विषय में अवगत कराकर सुविधाओं के विस्तार हेतु आग्रह किया।

माननीय मंत्री जी को अवगत कराया कि अपने संसदीय कार्यकाल के दौरान भी इन विषयों के संबंध में मेरे द्वारा आग्रह किया गया था कि नैनपुर छिंदवाड़ा पैसेंजर ट्रेन को बैतूल तक विस्तारित किया जाकर इंदौर-छिंदवाड़ा-सिवनी के मध्य संचालित 19343/19344 पेंचवेली फास्ट पैसेंजर ट्रेन को नैनपुर तक संचालित किया जा सकता है जिससे सिवनी, मंडला, नैनपुर, छिंदवाड़ा एवं बैतूल के यात्रियों को लाभ होगा। साथ ही पेंचवेली फास्ट पैसेंजर ट्रेन में लंबी दूरी की यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों की सुविधा को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए एक AC-2 एवं एक AC-3 का यात्री कोच बढ़ाने का भी आग्रह किया।

वर्तमान में फिरोजपुर - सिवनी के मध्य संचालित 14623/14624 पातालकोट एक्सप्रेस जो की बालाघाट संसदीय क्षेत्र के सिवनी जिले के अतिरिक्त मंडला एवं छिंदवाड़ा संसदीय क्षेत्र के यात्रियों को दिल्ली एवं उत्तर भारत की ओर जाने हेतु एकमात्र रेल सुविधा है। लगभग 1500 KM की इस लंबी दूरी की ट्रेन में पेंट्री कार सेवा नहीं होने से यात्रियों को भोजन की उपलब्धता नहीं हो पाती है। माननीय मंत्री जी से आग्रह किया कि पातालकोट एक्सप्रेस को उसकी संपूर्ण रैक क्षमता के अनुरूप AC-1, AC-2 एवं AC-3 के एक-एक यात्री कोच बढ़ाने के साथ ही पैंट्री कार सेवा भी प्रारंभ की जाए।

माननीय मंत्री जी द्वारा इस विषय पर संज्ञान लेते हुए क्षेत्र की इस पुरानी मांग पर तत्काल कार्रवाई प्रारंभ करने हेतु निर्देशित किया गया।
