SER had sent a proposal to SR to restore Haldia-Chennai Exp. But SR have denied to restore Haldia-Chennai exp .
This is a bad news for people of WB and specially Purba Midnapur and pashchim midnapore districts of WB.
For people of purba midnapur it was the only dedicated train for chennai and south india which was mainly used by patients and poor labours to travel directly from Haldia, Tamluk, Panskura and whole purba midnapore district.

This train was very useful to the people of west Bengal and Odisha to go to South India . It was cancelled permanently and its Number 22613 / 22614 were allotted to another SR Train. Now it is the best time to demand for the restoration of this train. The BJP Lok Sabha MP should press for the restoration of this weekly Exp with another number.

Even after several request and demands from many people be it local MLA, Passenger associations, passengers through different sources/medium. Local BJP MP Suvendu Adhikari is totally Silent on restoring Haldia-Chennai Exp which is still Cancelled by SER &SR after COVID.
SER and SR both r not listening to passenger demands. Haldia-Chennai Exp was an important train and RB needs to restore this train immediately for benefits of passengers.
