The Kashi Mahakal Express runs three times a week from Varanasi to Indore, with two days passing through Lucknow and every Sunday passing through Prayagraj Junction. General class coaches were introduced on Tuesday, June 25th, on the train route via Lucknow. Now, passengers traveling via Prayagraj on Sundays will also have access to general class coaches.

Train ka timetable same hai, har Sunday 3:15 PM pe Varanasi se chalta hai aur har Monday 10:15 AM pe Indore se chalta hai. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has handed over the operation of this train to the zonal railway. Previously, under IRCTC's operation, only reserved coaches were available; now general coaches will be included, increasing the total number of coaches to 20.
