The IMD has also forecast light rain in Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Northeast India, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and coastal Andhra Pradesh over the next two days. Moderate rainfall is expected in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands from January 25th to 28th. Cold day conditions are expected in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh on January 26th, followed by cold day conditions in the same regions on January 27th and 28th. Due to dense fog, several flight operations at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport were delayed, and several trains, including the Gaya-New Delhi Mahabodi Express (12397), Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express (12801), Katihar-Amritsar Express (15707), Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express (22811), and Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Duronto (12281), were delayed by more than 5 hours.

The Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express (22823) is delayed by 6 hours and 30 minutes, while the Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express (12801), Rewa-Anand Vihar Express (12427), and Azamgarh-Delhi Jn Kaifiyat Express (12225) are all delayed by over 6 hours. Several other trains are delayed by 1 to 4 hours. The Jabalpur-Nizamuddin Express (12192) is delayed by 30 minutes. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) recorded the minimum temperature in Delhi at 8.3 degrees Celsius. The IMD predicts moderate fog in Delhi until January 26. Dense to very dense fog is expected in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh until January 26. The IMD also reported visibility challenges in several locations across India, including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and other states.

Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express (22823) 6 ghante 30 minute late hai, aur Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express (12801), Rewa-Anand Vihar Express (12427), aur Azamgarh-Delhi Jn Kaifiyat Express (12225) 6 ghante se zyada late hain.
