A total of 264 trains pass through Prayagraj Junction, with 35 pairs (70 trains) operating daily, 108 trains operating once a week, and others operating between two to four days a week. Prayagraj is the most populous district in the state and is also known as a religious and spiritual city. Several state-level offices, including the Allahabad High Court, are located in Prayagraj. Despite being the location of the General Manager and Divisional Railway Manager offices, 24 pairs of trains do not stop here, while all of these trains stop at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, located approximately 150 km away. Considering the upcoming Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj next year, a demand has been made to ensure that all trains passing through the city stop there. Currently, a proposal has been sent to the Railway Board for all non-stop trains passing through Prayagraj to stop, keeping the Kumbh Mela in mind. The Senior DCM of North Central Railway Prayagraj Division, Himanshu Shukla, states that there is hope that the board will grant permission for the trains to stop here.

Prayagraj Junction pe total 264 trains ka aavajan hai, jisme 35 pairs (70 trains) daily operate hoti hain, 108 trains har hafta ek din operate hoti hain, aur baaki 2 se 4 din mein operate hoti hain. Prayagraj state ka sabse zyada aabadi wala district hai, aur ye dharma aur adhyatma ki nagri bhi hai. Allahabad High Court aur kai state level offices Prayagraj mein hi hain. 264 trains, with 35 pairs (70 trains) running daily and 108 trains operating once a week. Other trains run two to four days a week. While Prayagraj is the most populated district in the state and known for its religious significance, with offices like the Allahabad High Court, 24 pairs of trains do not stop at the junction, even though it is the headquarters of the Railway's General Manager and Divisional Railway Manager. These trains stop at the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, about 150 km away. Given that the Kumbh Mela will be held in Prayagraj next year, there is a demand to ensure that all trains passing through the city stop there. The proposal for all non-stop trains passing through Prayagraj Junction to stop has been sent to the Railway Board in anticipation of the Kumbh Mela. The Senior DCM of the North Central Railway Prayagraj Division, Himanshu Shukla, is hopeful that the board will approve the proposal for the trains to stop at Prayagraj Junction.

Members have left Bauruch, Sawai. Let this fastest Rajdhani stop at all places no end to desire. AG Rajdhani is slowed down with stops and now all this Rajdhani. Nagda is given unnecessarily at midnight in both directions. IR will introduce VB sleeper with 3 stops and then people start asking for stops.

Just for a loss of 1 LHB coach they will cancel
such a long distance train.Please don't assume. ECR DNR division got a loss of 1 LHB 2007 made 3 A coach which was completely damaged beyond repair except this coach no other LHB coach owned by DNR division was damaged.

Danapur ho yaah Sonpur,Samastipur fallana dikana division loss toh bahut hua hain ECR ko ek toh sabhi trains cancelled 3-4 dinn se aur jo v stations property damaged/train coaches damaged Bihar epicenter tha iss riot ka.Well ECR koshish karrega thoda bahut manage ho DDU/DHN division se freights se.😄
