On January 21st, the minimum temperature in many parts of Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh remained below 2-4 degrees Celsius. Railways should introduce a winter schedule for Northern Railway where dense fog affects the train punctuality every year. This can be similar to the Monsoon schedule for trains plying on Konkan Railway.

NR is a Mamoth when compared to KR ..
Much more people depend on NR for daily regional and local commute than KR.
NR can just over come this problem by take standardisation and cancellation of low performing trains ..
these bigger delays are due to late incoming trains at the terminals … this can be resolved …
