Manager of East Central Railway, Anil Kumar Khandewal, confirmed that this disruption is due to the ongoing third line and automatic signaling work. This is expected to improve railway capacity in the future. Affected trains include the Ranchi-Sasaram Intercity Express (18635/18636), Ranchi-Banaras Express (18611/18612), and various other passenger trains.
