KSR Bengaluru-Tumkur (06575), Yesvantpur-Shivamogga Town (16579), and Shivamogga Town-Yesvantpur (16580) trains. Others are partially canceled, including the KSR Bengaluru-Tumkur (06571/06572) trains between Hirehalli and Tumkur and the Talaguppa-KSR Bengaluru (20652) and KSR Bengaluru-Dharwad-KSR Bengaluru (12725/12726) trains between Arasikere and KSR Bengaluru. The Vasco-da-Gama-Yesvantpur (17310) train will deviate on July 17 and 24, bypassing Tiptur and Tumkur, while the Mysore-Varanasi (22687) and Yesvantpur-Jaipur (82653) trains will deviate on July 18 and 25, bypassing Tumkur. The Mysore-Belagavi (17326) train will also deviate, bypassing Tiptur and Tumkur. The Mysore-Udaipur City (19668) train will follow a different route through KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Nelamangala, Hassan, Arasikere, and Davangere. Several trains will also be regulated, including the Bikaner-Yesvantpur (16588), Yesvantpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin (12629), KSR Bengaluru-Talaguppa (20651), Belagavi-Mysore (17325), and Chamarajanagar-Tumkur (07345) trains. The Yesvantpur-Vasco-da-Gama (17309) train will depart from Yesvantpur 60 minutes late on July 18 and 25, and the Tumkur-Shivamogga Town (06513) train will depart from Tumkur 85 minutes late on July 24.

This practice of converting passenger trains to express specials has been ongoing since April 2021, with South Western Railway converting 20 passenger trains into express trains with premium fares. The Railways have also decided not to run passenger trains beyond 200 km. The South Western Railway has restored pre-Covid fare structures in its zone following complaints about the hiked fares.
