Western Railway officials after receiving approval from the Railway Board. Eight of these trains, including the 19413 Ahmedabad-Kolkata Express, the 11050 Kolhapur-Ahmedabad Express, and the 22138 Prerna Express, will be shifted in the first phase. These trains will now operate under the Rajkot division and will bypass Ahmedabad Junction with only a 5-minute halt. This shift is expected to benefit passengers travelling from Surat to Rajkot, as they will have an additional train option to Rajkot.

In other news, the ongoing construction work at Prayagraj Rambag Railway Station for the Maha Kumbh has been extended until August 13th, leading to the cancellation of 17 trains' stops at this station until that date.
