The railway administration is implementing power blocks for these construction works. To accommodate the increased passenger rush, the railway administration will be adding extra coaches to ten trains. Numerous special trains operating on the Asansol-Kiul-Patna-Howrah line were canceled, while the routes of others were modified. Passengers faced significant inconvenience as a result. The railway had announced the 13-hour power and traffic block in advance. Specifically, the following trains were canceled: 03681/03682 Asansol-Jasidih-Asansol Passenger, 03538/03539 Jasidih-Andal-Jasidih Passenger Special, 03769/03770 Jasidih-Jhajha-Jasidih MEMU Special, 03573/03574 Jasidih-Kiul-Jasidih Passenger Special, 03233/03234 Deoghar-Jhajha-Deoghar MEMU Passenger Special, 03675/03676 Asansol-Jhajha-Asansol Passenger, 03581/03582 Jasidih-Banka-Jasidih DEMU Special, 03677 Asansol-Jasidih Passenger, 03571 Jasidih-Mokama MEMU Special, 02023/02024 Howrah-Patna-Howrah Superfast Special Express, 13029/13030 Howrah-Mokama-Howrah Express.
