The return train, 03414 New Delhi-Malda Town Holi Special, will depart New Delhi at 10:30 AM on April 1, April 5, and April 8, arriving at Malda Town at 7:55 AM the next day. The train will make stops at New Farakka, Barharwa, Sahibganj, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Sultan Ganj, Bariarpur, Jamalpur, Dharhara, Abhaypur, and Kajra stations in the Eastern Railway jurisdiction. The train will offer General Second Class, Sleeper Class, and AC accommodation. The two existing Holi Special trains that will continue service are: 03435 Malda Town-Anand Vihar Holi Special, departing on April 8th, and 03436 Anand Vihar-Malda Town Holi Special, departing on April 9th. Additionally, 03483 Bhagalpur-New Delhi Holi Special will run on April 2 and 6, and 03484 New Delhi-Bhagalpur Holi Special will run on April 3 and 7. These additional trains are expected to provide an extra 13,460 berths, easing the pressure on passenger capacity during Holi. Railway Administration. The Rajgir-Anand Vihar 03239/03240 Holi Special Train will depart from Rajgir on March 31st at 11:00 AM and arrive in Prayagraj at 8:20 PM. The return journey from Anand Vihar will start on April 1st at 8:00 AM and reach Prayagraj by 6:00 PM. The Bhagalpur-New Delhi 03483/03484 Superfast Holi Special Train will leave Bhagalpur on March 30th at 11:00 AM and arrive in Prayagraj at 10:10 PM. train, 03436 Anand Vihar Terminus-Malda Town Special, will leave Anand Vihar Terminus at 18:00 on December 19th and 26th, arriving in Malda Town at 23:30. The train will stop at New Farakka, Barharwa, Sahibganj, Pirpainti, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Sultanganj, Jamalpur, and Abhaypur stations in both directions. The special train will generate 4384 berths. It will have Second Class, Sleeper Class, and AC coaches, with ticket booking available through PRS and online. A special charge will be applied, and there will be no concessions or tatkal quota. Meanwhile, four bogies of a coal-laden goods train derailed near Telo Bathan Tola in the Lalmatiya-Farakka MGR line, under the Boriyo police station area. While no casualties were reported, NTPC officials reported to the Boriyo police station that the train was transporting coal from Lalmatiya to Farakka, and that anti-social elements had damaged the tracks, causing the derailment. The incident resulted in a loss of lakhs of rupees. A similar incident was reported in September 2021. The police are investigating the matter.
