hai. Mission Raftar naam ke is initiative ka maksad hai freight trains ki speed badhana aur superfast, mail aur express services ki speed 25kmph tak badhana. Isme Mumbai Suburban trains shamil nahi hain, kyunki local traffic ki wajah se yeh mushkil hai aur Godhra-Ratlam Ghat section me sharp curves aur steep gradients ki wajah se bhi. Currently, Virar aur Churchgate ke beech trains 100-110kmph ki speed se chalti hain, lekin aane wale improvements se 491km lambi Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor par travel revolutionize ho jaayega. Abhi, Vande Bharat is distance ko 5 hours aur 15 minutes me cover karta hai, aur Shatabdi 6 hours aur 35 minutes me. Is speed boost ko possible banane ke liye kai infrastructure upgrades kiye gaye hain. Isme tracks aur bridges ko improve karna, advanced signalling aur overhead equipment install karna, aur 52kg rails ko 90 ultimate tensile strength wale 62kg rails se replace karna shamil hai. Iske alawa, high-speed operations ke dauran track stability ensure karne ke liye sleeper density ko bhi badhaya gaya hai. Safety measures ko bhi priority di gayi hai, jisme manned level crossings ko rail over bridges ya subways se replace kiya ja raha hai, aur saare bridges ko reinforce kiya ja raha hai. Signalling aur traction power systems ko upgrade kiya gaya hai, aur locomotives me real-time signals train driver ko dene ke liye state-of-the-art train collision avoidance system install kiya ja raha hai. Yeh improvements is region me rail travel ko modernize karne ki taraf ek bada kadam hai, jisse commuters ko Mumbai aur Ahmedabad ke beech faster, safer aur more efficient journey experience milega.
