On Friday, due to continued delays, it was ultimately canceled. Passengers with reservations for December 1st were informed of the cancellation upon arrival at the station. Some passengers opted to travel on the Sangam Express to Prayagraj, while others waited for the Amrapali Express, arriving at 1 AM. The Station Superintendent, Ghanshyam Meena, confirmed the cancellation of the Lichchhavi Express and informed passengers that they could travel on alternative trains such as Amrapali, Mahananda, Kalka Mail, and Farakka Express.

Kuchh passengers ne Sangam Express se Prayagraj tak ka ticket liya, aur kuchh passengers raat 1 baje aane wali Amrapali ke intezaar mein baithe rahe. Station Superintendent, Ghanshyam Meena ne bataya ki department ne Lichchhavi Express ko cancel kiya hai. Iske alawa, passengers Bihar jaane ke liye Amrapali, Mahananda, Kalka Mail, aur Farakka Express se safar kar sakte hain.
