Also on Wednesday, another shipment of litchi was sent from Darbhanga to Delhi via the 12565 Bihar Sampark Kranti Superfast. Amarish Kumar, the railway's leaseholder, reported that 111 boxes of litchi were sent. The harvesting of litchi in the Bari Eidgah Bagh on the city's Goshala Road has also begun. Litchi from the Bari Eidgah Bagh was purchased by Mo. Nizam, a resident of Bada Sumera, Kudhani, and sent to Delhi. The price of litchi in Delhi's Azad Mandi is currently 125 rupees per kilogram.
