Also, on September 3rd and 4th, train 20103 Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Gorakhpur Express, and on September 2nd, train 15909 Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Express will use the same route. The investigation found that the missing pin was likely removed during maintenance at Darbhanga station on July 28th, but not replaced, raising questions about the quality control at both Darbhanga and New Delhi. Despite the missing pin, the train traveled over 1100 km without experiencing any jolts or jerks. Although no passengers were injured in the incident, the lack of the tertiary pin posed a significant safety risk. As a result, the Senior Section Engineer and the MCM in Darbhanga have been suspended, and further disciplinary action may be taken against other officials.
