more... The work was completed by 10 am on Sunday, with the first train arriving at 10:30 am. The next block for this work is scheduled for September 22nd, after the Ganpati festivities. The 5th and 6th lines are being built to create a separate national corridor for mail/express trains. Work on the 6th line has been completed from Bandra Terminus to Goregaon and now from Goregaon to Kandivli. The 9 km stretch from Bandra Terminus to Goregaon is complete, and the 4.5 km stretch from Goregaon to Kandivli is ready to be connected to the existing network.
