The Dhanbad-Chandrapura rail line, which includes the Katras station, had been closed since June 15, 2017, due to safety concerns. However, the DC line was reinstated on February 25, 2019, and train stops at Katrasgarh station were reintroduced.

promises. A modified timetable for this train was submitted to the East Central Railway headquarters months ago, but it remains pending. A meeting of MPs on December 29th has reignited hope. The train passes through Dhanbad and Giridih constituencies, and the MPs from these regions, Parshupati Nath Singh and Chandra Prakash Chaudhary, are pushing for its revival. The meeting will focus on budget proposals and include MPs from Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. MPs will be requested to submit proposals for their respective areas, and the railway will respond and provide updates on the status of zonal and divisional proposals. Board-level proposals, like the introduction of new trains, will be forwarded to the ministry.

Train Dhanbad aur Giridih dono constituencies se ho kar guzarti hai, aur in regions ke MPs, Parshupati Nath Singh aur Chandra Prakash Chaudhary, is train ke revival ke liye push kar rahe hain. Meeting mein budget proposals par focus hoga aur Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, aur Madhya Pradesh ke MPs ko bulaya gaya hai. MPs se unke areas ke liye proposals submit karne ka request kiya gaya hai, aur railway unka response dega aur zonal aur divisional proposals ka status update karega.
