from Gaya had waiting list tickets, while ample seats were available on the Varanasi Cantt-Gaya route. The peak season for travel on this route is during the Pitru Paksha (ancestral fortnight), however, after that, trains experience low occupancy. The train runs on all days except Tuesday, with a travel time of 7 hours and 20 minutes from Cantt-Deoghar and 3 hours and 5 minutes for Varanasi-Gaya. The fare for the journey from Cantt to Gaya is Rs. 755 for a chair car (CC) and Rs. 1405 for an executive chair car (EC), while the fare from Cantt to Deoghar is Rs. 1355 for a CC and Rs. 2415 for an EC.

Train Mangalvaar ko chhodkar har din chalti hai, Cantt-Deoghar ka safar 7 hours 20 minutes aur Varanasi-Gaya ka safar 3 hours 5 minutes ka hai. Cantt se Gaya tak CC ka fare Rs. 755 aur EC ka Rs. 1405 hai, jabki Cantt se Deoghar tak CC ka fare Rs. 1355 aur EC ka Rs. 2415 hai.
